MPCC Updated 9/20/2008

The Mount Prospect Cheerleading Club (MPCC) contin ues to support the Mount Prospect Football Association (MPFA) at their football games from the end of August to early November.  The MPFA is a member of the Northwest Youth Football League (NWYFL.org), which has games in Mt. Prospect and also in the surrounding suburbs on Saturdays and Sundays.  Game schedules are available at the end of August.  MPFA also requests MPCC participants to get the PAYS (Parent Association for Youth Sports) certification.  This is offered by your local park district and would be your responsibility to obtain.

MPCC will also offer competitive cheerleading for those entering 4th grade through 8th grade by 9/1/07.  In addition to the mandatory requirement at weekly football games, the competition squad will participate in 3 all day events during the fall around the Chicago Metropolitan area.  The skills focused on in competition are a cheer/dance routine including stunting.  These practices are separate from football game practices and more physically demanding.  The competition fee covers registration and costs at events, gym rentals for practices, hair bows. socks and any other additional requirements.

Volunteers are ALWAYS welcome to assist in the continued success of MPCC.

Please consider donating your time as a coach or a board member by email us direct at gompcc@yahoo.com
